On Friday we visited the Dupuis Preserve. It was a bit windy and it rained, as the cold front pushed through South Florida. The temperature dropped at least ten degrees while we were at the preserve. There have been several fires in the area lately. I captured a few shots of the damage and of a fire that was struggling to continue its wrath. This is one of our fire season in South Florida because of it being so dry.
Thank you for visiting. Click on any photo to enjoy its native size & please leave a comment! My photos are captured with my Canon Rebel XTI with a Tameron 28 - 300 MM lens, Canon PowerShot SD800 IS and/or iPhone.

Buckhead Ridge, Florida
Last weekend, we went to Buckhead Ridge. The temperature was a pleasant 65 degrees with no wind. In the previous posts, I exhibited posts of some of the bird species that we saw. In this blog, I am featuring the beauty of Lake Okeechobee. It was fun to watch the locals toying with their air-boats and racing them. I was happy to see that the water level at the lake has stabilize from its low level over the last several years.
