Riverbend 04/18/2009

Pileated Woodpecker (above)

We went bike riding at Riverbend in Jupiter today. The weather was great, as it was in the low 70's. It rained a few times; however we had a great time. It was awesome to see several Sandhill Cranes!

Tabib,

This is prime breeding and hatching season, so there are many sights to see, if you are quick!

The Cranes were the score, as they are rare and finally making a comeback. WE watched them for a while.

I was really hoping to see some Alligators. Maybe next time.
