Okeeheelee Park
After a very long workweek that included facilitating a youth group this AM, we decided to unwind by taking some nature pictures. We visited the Okeeheelee Park to take some shots. It was a beautiful day; however, being that it was in the earlier PM, there not many critters out.
Hi Joe, Lovely photos, especially your photo of the Dragonfly. Nice butterflies and tortoise in its burrow. Looks like a great park to visit. Cheers Denis
I was amazed at how fast a Tortose can run! I saw him from a distance and was out of my range for a good shot. I barely got a decent shot before he was out of site!
Butterflies and dragon flies are also difficult to shoot because they move to much.
We are off to another park to the north of us that I have never visited before. I will share our shots.
