We visited Downtown Macon & the Rose Hill Cemetery on 08/25/2008. The downtown area is historical and academic. It is home to a Mercer University campus. The Rose Hill cemetery is an awesome place to spend some time by exploring its offerings and enjoying its ambiance.

The last photo in your series is my favorite. Looks just like an old cemetery should. Great photos over all. Very interesting.
This is an interesting cemetery and is very cool with all of the weathered pieces!
