Palm Beach Zoo

Even though I still do not feel that well, I forced myself to enjoy life and do something active and outdoors. Since we are members of our local zoo, we decided to pay them a visit for a few hours. This allowed me to be outside and to sweet more of the plague out of me.

I took off the polarized lens protector, kept on the UV lens protector, and used the hood on the shots below.

Morning activities on our patio

Our patio was active this morning with Doves, a family of Blue Jays, Butterflies, and Dragon Flies. I only got a few shots because I was enjoying the show from our balcony before the urge hit me.

I need to plant a few more items that attract the critters and am thinking of mounting some type of a feeder.

Green Cay

After being sick since Monday and being out of work for the last three days, I was going crazy from feeling miserable and from being house bound. I decided to go for a walk at Green Cay, even though is was raining on and off. We brought our dorky umbrellas and schlepped through the preserve. I met a few cool people along the way and had some positive conversations.

I will takes Scott's advice and purchase a field text for identifying these beautiful specimen!
