TS Fay vs the Golden Silk Orbweaver

I snapped a few shots of this specimen who has been able to survive the 60+ MPH gusts of TS Fay and her wind driven rain with no problem! The strength of a spider web and the agility of the specimen is amazing. This is the same specimen that I have posted several times; however, this time, I snapped the shots from my patio and the screen from the balcony is not distorting the shots.

I had difficulty obtaining clarity on these shots. The spider is on the outside of the screen. I placed the camera on macro mode and manual to prevent the specimen being lost in the zoom.

I observed this spider on our balcony this AM, munching on some type of a bug. He has the perfect home that is nestled between two support bars and the screen. The shots are a bit blurred because the spider is located on the other side of the screen.
