Betty, David, and I visited the Apoxee Urban Wilderness Park today. Many of the marsh areas have dried up. I am hoping that the summer rainy season will bring much needed water back to the wetlands. Next time, we will return with our bikes. This is a large area that has an access to a dike that runs for miles along the border of Apoxee and Grassy Waters. The dike offers a fantastic view of the various terrain of the reserves and to the animal and plant specimen that inhabit the region.
