We have spiders, called "Jewelled Spiders", in Australia, very similar to the one you photographed at Liz's House. Ours are more black and yellow, in colour, but shape and short stumpy legs the same.
We call that a Crab Spider. They are pretty common in Florida.
Liz has a beautiful home and shots in the water are of the bay located directly behind her home. This bay is where we photographed the Dolphins in the other post.
She also has many beautiful specimen of orchids, palms, and of native hardwood in her yard. Two sides of her lot are facing the bay.
